Accessible and personalized mental healthcare
My approach
I think of therapy as a conversation, one that can happen through words, play, drawing, or simply spending time together. I believe there are two people in the room, and that what happens between us matters as much as what we talk about. I’m not a blank screen or a quiet observer. I’m engaged, curious, and present, whether I’m sitting with an adult or on the floor with a child, and together we try to make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface.
My foundation is relational psychoanalysis, but I draw from different ways of practicing depending on what each person needs. Sometimes that means slowing down to explore feelings and patterns, and sometimes it means bringing in practical tools for what’s happening right now. With children, I also partner closely with parents so that the work continues at home. My hope is that therapy feels warm, honest, and genuinely collaborative: a space where anyone, at any age, can show up as they are.

Meet Jui
Hi, I’m Jui, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychoanalytically trained therapist. I believe that understanding where our feelings and patterns come from can lead to real and lasting change.
As a mom of two who lives and works in New York City, I know how full life can get. Let me help you find the space to slow down, talk and think through what’s been going on, and find some relief.
I work with individuals, couples, and young people. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and tailored to you, drawing on psychoanalytic insight along with practical tools when they help. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
